Very good location in the middle of Donaueschingen. Food tasty, not cheap.

LockDown Christmas 2020: enjoyed excellent game goulash + side dishes from Bräustüble-Donaueschingen; plus everything in environmentally friendly, yet sturdy, cardboard crockery (exemplary Togo packaging) and very inexpensive too. We ordered it again for the following day. Aparecida & Franz

Nice place, excellent beer!!!!!

1. The location is in the middle of Donaueschingen. Parking spaces are available but it could be tight. You can also eat outside under certain circumstances. The restaurant is nicely decorated in the style of a brewery. 2. The service was ok. Kind and courteous. 3. The beer was delicious. However, I didn't like the food. Neither a starter (Maultaschen) nor a main course cordon bleu. Furthermore, the portions are quite small. Really very expensive in terms of price. Pay for meat, plus a choice of side dish (pay extra) and sauce of your choice (also pay extra) For me the price-performance ratio of the food was simply not given.

More than delicious! Quaint ambience, very nice service, good portion sizes and especially the lunch menu is recommended.

A few weeks ago we sat on a sightseeing tour at the Diana fountain in front of the Braustüble and still fondly think back to the good break. The Maultaschen were finely cooked, the salad was fresh, well dressed and very rich, inside, hidden here in the photo, other varieties, and there was a very good espresso. Although it was hot and full, the staff had a friendly overview and everything was well managed. A recommended address in Donaueschingen!

Service was okay. For € 17 × the turkey schnitzel, I would have really expected a lot more, well fried and seasoned with a little sprinkling of spice. . The side dishes extra sweet potato fries for 6.80 € was a good portion, but not really a hit, too salty, also in terms of appearance. Sauces or ketchup were charged extra. For the price, I expect a lot more. I'm a little disappointed.

Funny and friendly waiter. Food mediocre. Had lumberjack steak with hash browns. For me, hash browns are grated potatoes fried in a pan. But it was rather greasy potato pancakes from a deep fryer. Side salad was also very moderate. It's a shame at the high price.

Were Sunday food and the service was very good. But unfortunately the food was not as it should be for this price range. The croquettes were too salty, the lettuce was roughly cut, but instead of spices, a lot of salt. The same for the fries. The Viennese veal schnitzel were unfortunately too salty. I've always been happy with the food. Was the cook in love here ?????

Was there for the first time, it is possible that today was simply not a good day for the service staff. Often forgotten, it felt like a long wait. At the next table was noticeably annoyed. Food was absolutely spotless! Food would get 5 stars, service unfortunately only 1 star ....

Nothing to complain about, hearty and tasty food that is served in ample portions. In addition, you put everything together yourself from the menu, everyone should find something.

I am excited about this restaurant. Food is really good, the beer is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. They also allowed our dog on the terrace and offered water. Prices are ok, you can't complain for what you get. I would love to come back when I come back nearby.

We were here for dinner yesterday. The service was very friendly, attentive and competent. The food was very tasty, all sorts of herbs and edible decorations sparked a little firework on the palate. Price / performance ratio is ok and the drinks are well chilled I can recommend this inn with a clear conscience.

The food was good and the ambience is very nice there, unfortunately we were sitting in the sun and because of Corona rules difficult to get another place. Unfortunately, we had to drink the last 15 minutes. But very nice waiters and price performance is good!

I’m disappointed that lunch is only until 2 p.m. If you come later you can only get a certain set of food. The beer was fine. The lady for service, however, is not in the best of moods.

My "Go to' bar when in Donauschingen. The food is good, the drinks selection is good and the prices are really reasonable. Some nice beers too as you would expect from the brewery.

Rating from the outside and only wanna try a brewery tour but no luck. It’s fulled the whole week and available only in German. That’s ok for me just have to book it in advance next time.

It is a really good restaurant,with really good vibes. There are many typical german foods and really good beer. And it is not too expensive, which is an important thing. I enjoyed the time there.

Okay on the whole. That's why three stars. Rustic brewery inn with good home-style cooking. Ideal for a casual evening. Prices slightly above average. Salad from the buffet was ok, but I did not taste very good. The Zwiebelrostbraten was well and cooked exactly. But the fried potatoes were a bit too greasy.
